Lauren is our new Volunteer Coordinator at Side by Side Kids. A proud Houstonian, she moved to Austin in 2019 to study Communications at the University of Texas at Austin. Her passion for nonprofit work and philanthropy comes from her desire to support causes that make a real difference.

Having volunteered with Side by Side Kids before joining the team, Lauren has always admired the strength and goodness of our students and looks forward to seeing them continue to grow in faith and confidence.

She hopes to become a professional counselor in the future and is passionate about the power of music and its ability to uplift others. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and exploring Austin’s hiking trails.
