Taylor joined the board in November 2017. A native Austinite, Taylor grew up in some of Austin’s public schools. He and his wife Erin have two boys and a girl – Jimmy (7), John David (5), and Louisa (2). They have been active members of All Saints Presbyterian Church for the last decade.

Taylor is an energy, environmental, and regulatory lawyer at Jackson Walker LLP, a full service law firm in Austin, Texas. He primarily helps clients develop and permit domestic energy projects and represents clients before many federal and state agencies. Taylor previously served on the West Lake Hills City Council.

Taylor holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and a B.A. from Texas A&M University.
